Hello!
My Name is Areej Rizwan and I am a graphic designer based in Virginia. I graduated in December 2022 from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Arts and Visual Technology with a Graphic Design concentration. I have always had a passion for art whether it be drawing, painting, sculpting, or designing. I love creating art that reflects the world around us and that captures different scenes and moments of time. I enjoy creating artwork that has meaning, and value and tells a story. I think art is a medium that speaks volumes and it allows for connections to be built, stories to be told, and conversations to be made. I enjoy that aspect of art and I love telling different stories about the world we share and the different lives we live.
My hope as a designer is to build bridges of reinforcement and cultural connection as well as appreciate the differences we all have in society.
